Experiential Learning: An Antidote to Child Perfectionism

Sometimes I have felt frustrated, and other times I’ve just felt a heaviness in my heart area, when I see my son do something that results in disappointment for him. But our children need these experiences. In this post, I discuss how and why it can be detrimental to interfere with your child’s experiential learning process—even when it is to save him pain or inconvenience!
